I went with the 18 gram and added two 2 gram to the head on my paddle, total right at 9 oz. I already have a very agile paddle and this makes it even more easier to swing and turn over. Both of these weight additions have greatly increased the feel and responsiveness on shots, I've never felt more confident in where my shots are going.
Once I need a new paddle I might try the 15g just to see if there is a noticeable difference in feel. I'm fairly strong so it doesn't bother me, but for older folks or those already with pain in their elbows/wrists I can for sure see this weight being too much long term.
Nice compact weight. Makes my paddle way more "flick-able".
-1 star due to that the 18g weight is *just* a little too big to fit inside the paddle buttcap sticker recess.
-1 star as (probably due to the size issue above) the factory adhesive doesn't stay stuck to the paddle......had to add about 4-5 gorilla glue dots to the paddle base to get it to stay.
